Elvin Lafleur

Funeral services were held for Elvin Lafleur, 90, of Ville Platte, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Ville Platte at 1:30 p.m., Tuesday, March 11. Burial followed in the Evangeline Memorial Cemetery.
Mr. Lafleur died Sunday, March 9, 2014, at Mercy Regional Medical Center in Ville Platte.
Survivors include his wife, Eloise Ortego Lafleur of Ville Platte; one son, Billy Lafleur and his wife, Vickie, of Missouri City, Texas; one daughter, Paula Lafleur Johnson and her husband, Kenneth, of Ville Platte; two sisters, Bonnie Webb of San Diego, California, and Verna Mae Hollier of Eunice; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Orise Sr. and Bernadette Vidrine Lafleur; his first wife, Icie L. Lafleur; and one grandson, James Stacy Lafleur.
Father Brian Harrington officiated.
