Etha Verne Ardoin

MAMOU - Funeral services were held for Etha Verne Ardoin, 82, of Mamou, at St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Mamou at 2 p.m., Monday, January 12. Burial followed in the New St. Ann’s Mausoleum.
A loving mother, grandmother and friend, Ms. Ardoin died Friday, January 9, 2015, at Promise Long Term Care Hospital in Baton Rouge. She was a giving person to all that needed help. Her family was her pride and joy. She was employed at Savoy Medical Center.
Survivors include two children, Wanda Manuel and her husband, Gene, of Walker and Wendell Ardoin of Lafayette; three grandchildren, Lonnie, Jamie and Ryan Manuel; five great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Armile Ardoin; her parents, Doxie and Regina Deshotel Vidrine; and one brother, Clifford Vidrine.
Father Mark Melancon officiated.
