Fern Lou Guillory

MAMOU - Funeral services were held for Fern Lou Guillory, 87, of Mamou, at St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Mamou at 10 a.m., Wednesday, March 2. Burial followed in the New St. Ann’s Cemetery.
A loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend, Ms. Guillory died Monday, February 29, 2016, at Lafayette General Medical Center.
Survivors include three daughters, Kaye Thompson and her husband, Robert, and Sheila Aymond and her husband, Terral, all of Mamou, and Paulette Cousins and her husband, Shawn, of Needville, Texas; one sister, Mary Nell Fontenot of Mamou; two brothers, Daniel Vidrine of St. Francisville and Joseph Bob Vidrine and his wife, Martha, of Ville Platte; six grandchildren, Terra Fontenot, Kristyn Marcantel, Justin Aymond, Robbie Thompson, Mandy Thompson and Abby Cousins; 11 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul C. Guillory; her parents, Yourick and Agnes Vidrine; and one sister, Suzette Haymond.
Father Alphonse Thainese officiated.
