VILLE PLATTE – A Mass of Christian Burial for Florence Ardoin, 98, was held Monday, June 20, 2016 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Ville Platte. Burial followed in the Mount Calvary Cemetery in Eunice with Fr. Matthew Barzare officiating services.
Ardoin, a resident of Ville Platte, passed away on Friday, June 17, 2016 at Heritage Manor Nursing Home in Ville Platte.
A loving mother, sister, and grandmother, Florence will be greatly missed and never forgotten by her daughters Terrie A. Mire and husband Aubrey of Ville Platte and Melba A. Bertrand of Abbeville and her brother Harris Veillon and wife Wilda of Ville Platte. Also left behind to cherish her memory are her eight grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, and six great great grandchildren.
She now rests with her husband Lannes Ardoin, parents Felicien and Armide Veillon, and her son-in-law L. J. Bertrand.
