Garrick Godfrey

Funeral services will be held for Garrick Godfrey, 32, of Ville Platte, at St. John Baptist Church in Ville Platte at 11 a.m., Saturday, April 25. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Mr. Godfrey died Tuesday, April 14, 2015, in Ville Platte.
Survivors include his former wife, Alethea Godfrey of Mamou; his mother, Vivian Semien (Rev. Bruse Semien) of Beaumout, Texas; his father, Lenneth Wayne Godfrey (Leslie Godfrey) of Ville Platte; one daughter, Jakira Gallow of Mamou; one son, Jacoby Gallow of Mamou: four sisters, Bragnes Godfrey of Beaumont, Texas, China Godfrey and Justice Godfrey, both of Baytown, Texas, and Amber Arvie of Ville Platte; two brothers, Twasky Fontenot of Houston, Texas, and Tre Godfrey of Baytown, Texas; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Rev. Bruse Semien will officiate.
Owens-Thomas Funeral Home of Ville Platte will be in charge of arrangements.
