Funeral services will be held for Gary “Keith” Ortego, 68, of Houma, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Ville Platte at 11 a.m., Saturday, March 12. Burial will follow in the Evangeline Memorial Cemetery.
A native of Ville Platte, Mr. Ortego died Tuesday, March 8, 2016, at Terrebonne General Medical Center in Houma.
Survivors include three sisters, Donna Madere and her husband, Ted, of Baton Rouge and Carla Ledet and Debbie Sadler, both of Houma; nieces and nephews; and great-nieces and great-nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Lee and Anna Rella Lejeune Ortego; and one brother, Robert Lynn Ortego.
