Gilbert Dwayne Lavergne

Funeral services were held for Gilbert Dwayne Lavergne, 50, of Ville Platte, at Our Lady Queen of All Saints Catholic Church in Ville Platte at 3 p.m., Tuesday, December 1. Burial followed in the Eternal Rest Cemetery.
A loving son, father, brother, and uncle, Mr. Lavergne died Saturday, November 28, 2015.
Survivors include his mother, Mary Lavergne of Ville Platte; one son, Tyler Dwayne Lavergne of Houston, Texas; one sister, Tammy Lavergne Jorden and her husband, Michael, of Ville Platte; and many nieces, nephews and great-nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Sylvester Lavergne.
Father Mitchell Guidry officiated.
