VILLE PLATTE - Funeral services for Gussie Brown, 62, were held Friday, September 16, 2016 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Burial followed in the Fontenot Cemetery in Tate Cove. Fr. Tom Voorhies officiated.
Brown, a resident of Ville Platte, passed away Thursday September 15, 2016 at his residence.
A loving husband, father and grandfather he will be forever missed by his wife, Lana Brown of Ville Platte; daughters, Gwen Fontenot and husband, Jesse, of Ville Platte, Jessica Ardoin and husband, Clay, of Tate Cove; brother Curtis Brown, of Ville Platte; sisters, Jeanette McDaniel and Joyce Manuel, both of Ville Platte; four grandchildren, Sydney Fontenot, Camille Fontenot, Silas Ardoin and Dagan Ardoin. He is preceded in death by his parents Lirsie and Tilly Guillory Brown, brothers, and sisters.
LaVille Funeral Home in Ville Platte was in charge of arrangements.
