Haddie Granger

MAMOU - Funeral services were held for Haddie Granger, 93, of Kountze, Texas, at St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Mamou at 11 a.m., Saturday, January 2. Burial followed in the Reed Cemetery.
A loving mother and grandmother, Ms. Granger died Wednesday, December 30, 2015, at the Kountze Nursing Center in Kountze, Texas.
Survivors include one daughter, Verona Faye Johnson and her husband, James, of Kountze, Texas. Also left behind to cherish her memory are her three grandchildren, Barron Fonte’ Young, James G. Johnson II and Kristi Lynn Johnson; and three great-grandchildren, Colby Blake Johnson, Kati Lynn Collins and Braelyn Michelle Johnson.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Mervin Young; her parents, Estelle Lee and Esther Granger; one son, Harlan Dale Young; and one grandson, Harlan Dale Young Jr.
Father Alphonse Thainese officiated.
