VILLE PLATTE - Visitation for Harold B. Fontenot, 79, will be held Sunday, January 29, 2017 from 9 a.m. - 10 p.m. with a rosary being recited at 6 p.m., and will resume again Monday January 30, 2017 at 8 a.m. until the time of services. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday January 30, 2017 at Sacred Heart Chapel in Belaire Cove with burial to follow in the church cemetery. Fr. Taj Glodd will officate.
Fontenot, a resident of Belaire Cove, died Friday January 27, 2017 at Heritage Manor Nursing Home in Ville Platte.
He will be missed by his daughter, Angie Bordelon and husband, Brandon; sister Wedna Fontenot, all of Belaire Cove; and two grandchildren, Brodie Bordelon and Sydney Bordelon. He is preceded in death by his parents, David and Alicia Fontenot; wife, Ethelene Fontenot; and brothers Ronald, Claude, Wade, and Fenrick.
LaVille Funeral in Ville Platte is in charge of arrangements.
