Funeral services were held for Hazel D. Dupre, 85, of Ville Platte, at Our Lady Queen of All Saints Catholic Church in Ville Platte at 1:30 p.m., Wednesday, July 16. Burial followed in the Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
Ms. Dupre died Saturday, July 12, 2014, at Acadian Medical Center in Eunice.
Survivors include one son, Steven Dupre of Ville Platte; three daughters, Brenda Gail Dupre of Opelousas and Rose Mary Lafleur and Stephanie Chapman and her husband, Patrick, all of Ville Platte; 14 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Nestor and Elodie Oge Dupre; her husband, Louis Dupre Sr.; two sons, Wayne Ellis Dupre and Louis Dupre Jr.; four brothers; and four sisters.
