Helen Ray Lafleur Dardeau

Funeral services will be held for Helen Ray Lafleur Dardeau, 78, of Ville Platte, at Our Lady Queen of All Saints Catholic Church in Ville Platte at 10 a.m., Monday, February 9. Burial will follow in the Sacred Heart Mausoleum.
Ms. Dardeau died Thursday, February 5, 2015, at her residence. She was a teacher, an office manager for her husband Dr. James Winston Dardeau, owned a la Mode, ran Le Carre mall strip until her retirement and was the first female council member in Ville Platte.
Survivors include three daughters, Lena Rachelle Dardeau of Stevenson, California, Felicia Marie Dardeau and her partner, Christine Lee, of Lake Charles and Nicole Renee Dardeau of Lafayette; one sister, Jacqueline Marie Cain and her husband, John, of Belle Chase; five grandchildren, Warren C. Soileau, Alexander O’Niel Dupre, Christopher Adam Soileau, Gabriel Ray Soileau and Noah James Ardoin.
She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Lena Fontenot Lafleur; and her husband, James Winston Dardeau M.D.
Visitation will be held Sunday, February 8, from 2 p.m. until 9 p.m., with a rosary being recited at 7 p.m., and will resume again Monday, February 9, at 10 a.m. at Our Lady Queen of all Saints Catholic Church.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to any Catholic charity.
Father Brad Guillory will officiate.
