MAMOU - Funeral services were held for Hilton Douget, 82, of Mamou, at St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Mamou at 2 p.m., Thursday, January 30. Burial followed in the New St. Ann’s Cemetery.
Mr. Douget died Tuesday, January 28, 2014, at Savoy Care Center in Mamou.
Survivors include one son, Shawn Douget and his wife, Brenda, of L’anse Meg; one daughter, Coletta Douget Soileau and her husband, Wayne, of Reddell; two sisters, Mary Alice Douget LaFleur of Mamou and May Grace Douget Soria of Lafayette; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Priscilla Guillory Douget; one son, Trent Douget; his parents, Lee and Edia Fuselier Douget; one sister, Laura May Douget Fontenot; and two brothers, Lionel and Liorest Douget.
Father Alphonse Thainese officiated.
