Huey Ardoin

Funeral services were held for Huey Ardoin, 83, of Ville Platte, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Ville Platte at 11 a.m., Wednesday, July 23. Burial followed in the M.B. Fontenot Cemetery.
Mr. Ardoin died Monday, July 21, 2014, at his residence. He was a veteran of both the United States Navy and the United States Army.
Survivors include one daughter, Abby Ardoin of Ville Platte; one sister, Maude Soileau of Ville Platte; and four grandchildren, Matt Ardoin, Nick Ardoin, Taylor Ardoin and Brook Marks.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Lena Mae Ardoin; his parents, Homer and Heloise Deshotel Ardoin; one son, Mark Ardoin; two brothers, Clarence and Sylvan Ardoin; and one sister, Anna Bell Fontenot.
Father Brian Harrington officiated.
