Jacob H. Guillory

Funeral services were held for Jacob H. Guillory, 77, of Ville Platte, at Our Lady Queen of All Saints Catholic Church in Ville Platte at 10 a.m., Wednesday, July 8. Burial followed in the Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
Mr. Guillory died Sunday, July 5, 2015, at Mercy Regional Medical Center in Ville Platte.
Survivors include four sons, Jacob Guillory Jr., Huey Guillory and Carl Guillory, all of Ville Platte, and Kirt Guillory and his wife, Fonda, of Lafayette; one brother, Paul Guillory Jr. and his wife, Janice, of Ville Platte; one sister, Sylvia Vidrine and her husband, Nelson, of Grand Prairie; and two grandchildren, Garrett and Logan Dupre.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Vernice Guillory; his wife, Mollie Ortego Guillory; one brother, Joseph Edward “J.E.” Guillory; one sister, Rudy Dawzel; and one grandson, Jordan Fontenot.
Father Mitchell Guidry officiated.
