Funeral services were held for James Curtis Soileau, 75, of Ville Platte, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Ville Platte at 11 a.m., Wednesday, November 25. Burial followed in the church cemetery.
Mr. Soileau died Saturday, November 21, 2015, at Mercy Regional Medical Center in Ville Platte.
Survivors include his loving wife, Mary Ann Soileau of Ville Platte; two sons, David Todd Soileau and his wife, Karen, of Raleigh, North Carolina, and Michael Kent Soileau and his wife, Cherie Lynn, of Ville Platte; one daughter, Vickie Marie Ardoin and her husband, Steven, of Denham Springs; two brothers, Clyde Soileau of Washington and Dale Soileau of Houston, Texas; one sister, Delores Couvillion of Opelousas; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild on the way.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence and Maise Soileau; and one great-granddaughter, Kinlee Rae Brown.
Father Bazare officiated.
