Funeral services were held for Janet Young Deville, 53, of Ville Platte, at the Sacred Heart Chapel in Belaire Cove at 1 p.m., Monday, July 14. Burial followed in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Deville died Friday, July 11, 2014, at her residence. She was a devout Catholic and loved to garden. Her greatest love was her family.
Survivors include her husband, Michael Deville of Ville Platte; her mother, Leocarlie Young of Chataignier; one son, Justin Deville and his wife, Sara, of Vidrine; one daughter, Lacy Deville of Ville Platte; two brothers, Karl Young of Opelousas and Curtis Young of League City; one sister, Judy Scott of Chataignier; and two grandchildren, Ethan and Sadie Deville.
She was preceded in death by her father, Hillary Young.
Father Brian Harrington officiated.
