Jeanell “Nell” Marie LeBleu

MAMOU - Funeral services were held for Jeanell “Nell” Marie LeBleu, 50, of Point Blue, at St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Mamou at 2 p.m., Monday, May 9. Burial followed in the Pine Point Cemetery.
A wonderful wife, mother, daughter, sister, grandmother, aunt and friend, Mrs. LeBleu died Saturday, May 7, 2016, at Lafayette General Medical Center.
Survivors include her husband of 32 years, Anthony Ray LeBleu of Point Blue; two daughters, Ashley Phillips and her husband, Doug, of Pine Prairie and Kaylee Soileau and her husband, Zack, of Bayou Chicot; one son, Jake LeBleu of Point Blue; her father, Nolan Gotreaux of Baton Rouge; one brother, Anthony Gotreaux of Mamou; three sisters, Charlotte, Victoria and Bridgette Gotreaux, all of Mamou; five grandchildren, Payton and Ashton Janise, Haedyn and Roman Phillips and Bailie Fontenot; and nieces and nephews, Dwana, Derrick, Reagan, Jordan, Erica, Kinsey, Elizabeth, Dylan, Madison, Tristin, Matthew and Fatima.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Mickey Gotreaux; one sister, Chasity Gotreaux; and her maternal grandparents, Lillian Meche and Clarence “Cam” Lavergne.
Pall bearers were Jake, Jeremy, Jordan, Curtis, Derrick, Erica and Tony, Danny and Dylan.
Father Kasper Arulsamy officiated.
