John Mark LaFleur

A memorial service will be held for John Mark LaFleur, 55, of Ville Platte, at the New Life Assembly of God Church in Ville Platte at 11 a.m., Saturday, June 14.
Mr. LaFleur died Sunday, May 25, 2014.
Survivors include one sister, Claudia Hernandez of Duson; one brother, George LaFleur Jr. of Ville Platte; two aunts, Kat (Mrs. Jim) Soileau and Dot (Mrs. Charles) Chapman, both of Ville Platte; three uncles, George DeVillier and Danny DeVillier, both of Lake Charles, and Dowell DeVillier of Carencro; and a host of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Mavis DeVillier LaFleur; his father, George LaFleur Sr.; one brother, David LaFleur; one sister, Christine LaFleur Landry; his grandparents, Charles and Emma Pierrottie DeVillier; and special uncle, Silton DeVillier.
