MAMOU - Visitation for Johnny Reed, 64, will be held on Thursday, June 23, 2016 at 9 a.m. at Richie House of Prayer in Richie until time of services at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in the Reed Cemetery in Mamou with Pastor Joey Reed officiating.
Reed passed away Tuesday, June 21, 2016 at Acadian Medical Center in Eunice.
A father, brother, grandfather and friend, Reed will be greatly missed by his three sons, Joey Reed and wife, Naomi of Eunice, Brandon Reed and wife, Jessica of Mamou and Byron Reed and wife, Nina of Mamou; one sister, JoAnn Guillory of Oberlin; ten grandchildren, Camry Reed, Ansley Arrant, Myranda Reed, Melaina Reed, Kaleb Reed, Keegan Reed, Micah Reed, Lillian Reed, Dylan Reed and Hayden Reed; as well as extended family and friends.
Reed is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Alice Reed, his son, Johnny Reed, Jr., and his parents, Francis and Elizabeth Guillory Reed. They surely await his arrival with open arms and joyous hearts.
