JOSEPH RICHARD “RICHIE” BRUNET JR.

VILLE PLATTE - Visitation for Joseph Richard “Richie” Brunet, Jr. was held Tuesday August 30, 2016 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with a funeral service following the visitation.
Brunet, 48, was born in Eunice and was a resident of Point Blue. He passed away in Lafayette on Thursday, August 25, 2016.
Brunet dedicated over 18 years working for the Solid Waste Commission. He loved his family and enjoyed spending time with them. In his spare time he enjoyed hunting, fishing and being outdoors.
Richie is survived by his wife Bridget Vidrine Brunet of Point Blue, son Jobe Richard Brunet of Point Blue, dad Richard Brunet of Point Blue, mother Sandra Chapman and step-dad LJ Chapman of Belaire Cove, and sister Shelley Fruge and Daniel of Belaire Cove.
Richie was preceded in death by his step-daughter Darian Bridget Vidrine, grandparents Gill and Pearl Mayeaux and Gerand and Regina Brunet.
Ardoin’s Funeral Home of Ville Platte was in charge of arrangements.
