MAMOU - Funeral services were held for Karl Westly Rhodes, 38, of Mamou, at New Life Church in Mamou at 11 a.m., Saturday, December 6. Burial followed in the Reed Cemetery in L’anse Meg.
A loving husband, son, father and friend, Mr. Rhodes died Tuesday, December 2, 2014, at Acadian Medical Center in Eunice.
Survivors include his wife, Shelley Ardoin Rhodes of Mamou; four children, Shawn Malveaux, Tyler Ardoin, Hayden Rhodes and Ava Jolie Rhodes, all of Mamou; his mother, Lucinda S. Rhodes of Bayou La Batre; his step-father, Augustus Lyons; and three brothers, William Lawrence Rhodes, Dustin Ray Rhodes and Patrick Rhodes, all of Mobile, Alabama.
He was preceded in death by his father, William Rhodes.
