VILLE PLATTE - Funeral services for Kim Anthony Daire, 61, were held Tuesday December 6, 2016 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Burial followed in the Evangeline Memorial Cemetery. Father Tom Voorhies officiated.
Daire enjoyed his morning cup of coffee with his parents and their company was a treasure to him. His loving and relentless care for his parents was inspiring. An avid golfer, hunter, and LSU fan, he cherished the time he spent with his three brothers. The true joy in his life was his three grandsons. His love and adoration for them went beyond all measure.
Pallbearers were John Daire, Tommy Daire, Joey Daire, Shane Curry, Lester Daire, and Thomas Daire. Honorary pallbearers were Liam, Luke, and Ellis Curry.
He will be deeply missed by his daughter, Jamie Daire Curry, and husband, Shane, of Lafayette; three grandsons, Liam Curry, Luke Curry, Ellis Curry; parents, John (Doc) and Flo Daire, of Ville Platte; brothers, John C. Daire and wife, Debbie, of Lafayette, Tommy Daire and wife, Laura, and Joey Daire and wife, Laurie, all of Ville Platte.
LaVille Funeral Home in Ville Platte was in charge of arrangements.
