MAMOU - Funeral services will be held for Laura Soileau Vizina, 83, of Mamou, at the Ardoin’s Funeral Home Chapel in Mamou at 3 p.m., Friday, March 20. Burial will follow in the New St. Ann’s Mausoleum.
Ms. Vizina died Thursday, March 19, 2015, at Savoy Care Center in Mamou.
Survivors include one son, Richard “Ricky” Vizina and his wife, Barbara, of Covington; one sister, Ethel Courville of Carencro; her caregiver, Sue Vasseur of Mamou; two grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Pershing Vizina; her parents, Archille Soileau and Maya McCauley Soileau; one son, Raymond Vizina; and one brother, Wade Soileau.
Father Alphonse Thainese will officiate.
