Lawrence “Do” Guillory

MAMOU - Funeral services will be held for Lawrence “Do” Guillory, 95, of Mamou, at St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Mamou at 2 p.m., Thursday, January 14. Burial will follow in the Old St. Ann’s Cemetery.
A loving father, brother, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend, Mr. Guillory died Tuesday, January 12, 2016. He was a veteran of World War II, having served in the United States Navy.
Survivors include two sons, Anthony (Tony) Guillory and his wife, Jan, of Mamou and Timothy (Tim) Guillory and his wife, Rhonda, of Patterson; three daughters, Linda Wilson and her husband, Jennings, Cynthia Fontenot and her husband, Cecil, and Becky Jeamard and her husband, David, all of Ville Platte; one sister, Rose Huguet of Opelousas; 12 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Agatha Manuel Guillory; his parents, Fredrick and Rose LaHaye Guillory; one son, Nolan Keith Guillory; and one brother, Stanley Guillory.
Father Alphonse Thainese will officiate.
