Lawrence G. “Mr. Teet” Deville

Funeral services will be held for Lawrence G. “Mr. Teet” Deville, 88, of Ville Platte, at Our Lady Queen of All Saints Catholic Church in Ville Platte at 1 p.m., Saturday, February 7. Burial will follow in the Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
Mr. Deville died Thursday, February 5, 2015, at Heritage Manor Nursing Home in Opelousas. He owned and operated Teet’s Food Store for over 60 years.
Survivors include his wife, Ruby O’Connor Deville of Ville Platte; two sons, David Wayne Deville and Chris Deville and his wife, Dawn, all of Ville Platte; one daughter, Sherrel Fontenot and her husband, Brent, of Grand Prairie; one sister, Mary Ola Smith of Port Arthur, Texas; seven grandchildren; one great-grandchild and one on the way.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Juslin and Amy Janise Deville; one sister, Emily Christy; and one brother, Edwin Deville.
Father Mitchell Guidry will officiate.
