Funeral services were held for Lelma Guillory Lafosse, 92, of Ville Platte, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Ville Platte at 1 p.m., Sunday, December 1. Burial followed in the Old Ville Platte Cemetery.
Ms. Lafosse died Friday, November 29, 2013, at Heritage Manor Nursing Home in Ville Platte.
Survivors include two daughters, Shirley G. Darbonne of Ville Platte and Sandra Guillory of Bayou Chicot; 11 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Voorhies Guillory; her parents, Dejean and Amelia Fontenot Ardoin; one grandson, Brent Darbonne; two brothers; and five sisters.
Father Brian Harrington officiated.
