Funeral services will be held for Leza Guillory Foret, 100, of Ville Platte, at Our Lady Queen of All Saints Catholic Church in Ville Platte at 12:30 p.m., Sunday, January 31. Burial will follow in the Sacred Heart Mausoleum.
Ms. Foret died Thursday, January 28, 2016, at Mercy Regional Medical Center in Ville Platte.
Survivors include three sons, Andrew Gladney Foret and John Ellis Foret and his wife, Dorothy, all of Ville Platte, and Gerald Clyde Foret and his wife, Penny, of Texas; and one daughter, Lena Mae Foret of Ville Platte. Also left behind to cherish her memory are her eight grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lucius Foret; her parents, Decourie and Zelima Guillory; one son, James Lucius Foret; six brothers, Elton Guillory, Alcide Guillory, Orise Guillory, Odeia Guillory, Joseph “Can” Clarence Guillory and Delta Guillory; and two sisters, Loycie Guillory Bolfas and Lena Guillory.
Father Mitchell Guidry will officiate.
