Lou Claudia Saucier Fontenot

Funeral services were held for Lou Claudia Saucier Fontenot, 89, of Ville Platte, at Our Lady Queen of All Saints Catholic Church in Ville Platte at 11 a.m., Tuesday, October 21. Burial followed in the Evangeline Memorial Park Cemetery.
A loving mother and grandmother, Ms. Fontenot died Saturday, October 18, 2014, at Heritage Manor Nursing Home in Ville Platte.
Survivors include her precious children, Danny Fontenot and his wife, Becky, of Ville Platte, Dickie Fontenot and his wife, Rowena, of Bayou Chicot, Nancy Del Vecchio and her husband, Michael, of Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, and Linda Flanagin and her husband, William, of Carencro; 12 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Calvin Fontenot; her parents, Jean Batiste and Celeste Deshotel Saucier; and her siblings, Jean Batiste Saucier Jr., Elwood Saucier, Wernerie Martin Saucier, Helen Morien and Priscilla Lane.
Father Brad Guillory officiated.
