Louis Calvin Soileau

Funeral services will be held for Louis Calvin Soileau, 82, of Ville Platte, at the LaVille Funeral Home Chapel in Ville Platte at 1:30 p.m., Wednesday, September 10. Burial will follow in the Gate of Heaven Mausoleum.
Mr. Soileau died Monday, September 8, 2014, at his residence.
Survivors include his wife, Armentine R. Soileau of Ville Platte; three sons, Gregory Paul Soileau and his wife, Gina, of Carencro, David Scott Soileau and his wife, Mary, of St. Landry and Carl James Hebert and his wife, Leila, of Ville Platte; one daughter, Brenda Wilson and her husband, Alvin, of Pine Prairie; one brother, John Nathan Soileau of Puyallup, Washington; one sister, Freddie Mae Fontenot of Ville Platte; eight grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and special niece, Shirley Cooper and her husband, R.C.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Oswald and Regina Barron Soileau.
