VILLE PLATTE – Visitation for Marie Hazel Bunyett will be held Friday, November 25, 2016 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at St. Landry Baptist Church. Funeral services will begin at 2 p.m. at the church. Bunyett will be laid to rest at Ferguson Cemetery.
Bunyett, 97, passed away on Sunday, November 20, 2016.
A loving mother and grandmother, Bunyett will be greatly missed by her children, Donald Bunyett and wife, Brenda, of St. Amant, Gene Bunyett and wife, Jan, of Gonzales, and Carolyn Ardoin and husband, Ronald, of Turkey Creek. Also left behind to cherish her memory are her eight grandchildren, Denise Stein and husband, John, Donna Duplessis and husband, Bris, Darrin Bunyett and wife, Leslie, Curtis Bunyett and Donna Brown, Janice Bunyett, Kristy Ardoin Lahaye and husband, Billy, Craig Ardoin and wife, Kristy, and Ryan Ardoin and wife Rachel; 19 great -grandchildren; and six great-great grandchildren.
She now rests with her husband Loyd Bunyett and parents, Theomile and Eulalie Deville.
Ardoin’s Funeral Home in Ville Platte is in charge of arrangements.
