Marion Smith Loga

Funeral services will be held for Marion Smith Loga, 94, of Ville Platte, at Our Lady Queen of All Saints Catholic Church in Ville Platte at 10 a.m., Saturday, July 19. Burial will follow in the Sacred Heart Mausoleum.
Ms. Loga died Tuesday, July 15, 2014, at her residence.
Survivors include five sons, Larry Loga Sr. and his wife, Patricia, of Gretna and Melvin Loga and his wife, Sue, Terry Loga, Darrell Loga and his wife, Gwen, and Benjamin Loga Jr. and Faye, all of Boothville; seven daughters, Ann Fontenot and her husband, Bobby, and Althea Young and her husband, Russell, all of Ville Platte, Lois Trahan of Abbeville, Gail Adolph and her husband, Dennis, and Julie Poyadou and her husband, Timmy, all of Boothville, Cindy Fontenot and her husband, Wendell, of Pine Prairie and Nancy Seal and her husband, Andy, of Livonia. She was also blessed with 39 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by her one remaining life-long friend, Jan Harding of San Antonio, Texas, along with a host of family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Benjamin Loga Sr.; her parents, Edward and Annie Smith; one brother, August Serpas; one son-in-law Ray Trahan; and two grandchildren, Amber Poyadou and Ricky Young.
