Funeral services were held for Marjorie Fontenot Ardoin, 76, of Ville Platte, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Ville Platte at 11 a.m., Tuesday, July 1. Burial followed in the M.B. Fontenot Cemetery.
A loving mother, sister and aunt, Ms. Ardoin died Friday, June 27, 2014, at Mercy Regional Medical Center in Ville Platte. She retired from Ville Platte Medical Center after 46 years of service in the business office. She also served as a CCD teacher for Our Lady Queen of All Saints Catholic Church’s CCD program.
Survivors include one son, Blake Ardoin of Ville Platte; and one brother, Ronald Fontenot of Ville Platte. Also left behind to cherish her memory are her nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Delouis “Joe” Ardoin; her parents, Edles and Marie O’Connor Fontenot; and one sister, Cavel Fontenot.
