Mary Bernadette Lafleur

Funeral services will be held for Mary Bernadette Lafleur, 79, of Ville Platte, at Our Lady Queen of All Saints Catholic Church in Ville Platte at 1:30 p.m., Thursday, May 26. Burial will follow in the Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
A loving mother and grandmother, Ms. Lafleur died Saturday, May 21, 2016, at Lafayette General Medical Center in Lafayette. She devoted her life to caring for her family. She enjoyed cooking, baking and playing bingo, but her greatest passion was that of spending time with her family.
Survivors include three sons, Tony Lafleur and his wife, Melanie, Brent Lafleur and his wife, Katherine, and Dwayne Lafleur, all of Ville Platte; and one daughter, Lisa Thibodeaux of Ville Platte. Also left behind to cherish her memory are her 11 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Lionel Lafleur; her father, Linton Fontenot; and her mother, Clamonce Tate.
Father Mitchell Guidry will officiate.
