Michael Blaine “Cha Cha” Fontenot

MAMOU - Funeral services will be held for Michael Blaine “Cha Cha” Fontenot, 56, of Mamou, at St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Mamou at 11:30 a.m., Thursday, June 4. Burial will follow in the New St. Ann’s Cemetery.
A loving husband, father, brother and friend, Mr. Fontenot died Tuesday, June 2, 2015, at Savoy Medical Center in Mamou.
Survivors include his loving wife, Valarie Douget of Mamou; one daughter, Laci Landreneau and her husband, Aaron, of Mamou; and one brother, Eddie “To-To” Fontenot of Mamou.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jeffery and Emma Lou Fontenot; and one brother, John Richard Fontenot.
Father Alphonse Thainese will officiate.
