MAMOU - Funeral services will be held for Minerva Granger Baker, 81, of Mamou, at St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Mamou at 10 a.m., Friday, August 22. Burial will follow in the New St. Ann’s Cemetery.
Ms. Baker died Wednesday, August 20, 2014, at the Basile Care Center.
Survivors include two daughters, Gwen Baker of Mamou and Pam Berzas of Duralde; three brothers, Chester Granger of Mamou, Melvin Granger of Eunice and Danny Granger of Oberlin; seven grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Maggie and Doris Vezina Granger; and her husband, Bill Baker.
Father Alphonse Thainese will officiate.
