Nathan “PeeWee” Fontenot

Funeral services were held for Nathan “PeeWee” Fontenot, 53, of Mamou, at St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Mamou at 2 p.m., Friday, February 13. Burial followed in the Perron Cemetery.
A wonderful, son, husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend, Mr. Fontenot died Tuesday, February 10, 2015, at Savoy Medical Cnter in Mamou.
Survivors include his wife of five years, Michelle Fontenot of Mamou; his mother, June Guillory Fontenot of Mamou; two sons, Garrett Trent Fontenot and Tobi Scott Fontenot, both of Mamou; three daughters, Betsy St. Ann and her husband, Ricky, of Pine Prairie and Simone and Sydney Manuel, both of Mamou; one brother, Donald W. Fontenot of Mamou; one sister, Priscilla “Pris” Fontenot of Mamou; and three grandchildren, Julian and Ava St. Ann and Chase Ardoin. They were the light of his life.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Corlis Fontenot; his father, J.L. Fontenot; and one sister, Diana McCauley.
Father Mark Melancon officiated.
