Pearl M. Suire

MAMOU - Funeral services were held for Pearl M. Suire, 91, of Mamou, at St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Mamou at 12 noon, Friday, April 11. Burial followed in the New St. Ann’s Cemetery.
Ms. Suire died Wednesday, April 9, 2014, at Savoy Medical Center in Mamou.
Survivors include three sons, Oran Suire and his wife, Joy, of Baton Rouge, Charles Suire and his late wife, Ruby, of Mamou and Glen Suire and his wife, Pat, of Lafayette; one daughter, Brenda Suire Landreneau and her husband, Doug, of Mamou; 18 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Oris Suire; her parents, Justin and Octavia Saucier Miller; one brother, Robert Miller; and one granddaughter, Paula Suire Fontenot.
Father Mark Melancon officiated.
