Perry Fontenot

FRANKSTON, Texas - Funeral services were held for Perry Fontenot, 80, of Frankston, Texas, at the Autry Funeral Home Chapel in Frankston, Texas, at 2 p.m., Wednesday, February 10. Burial followed in the Garden Oaks Memorial Park in Berryville, Texas.
A native of Ville Platte, Mr. Fontenot died Saturday, February 6, 2016, in Tyler, Texas. He was a retired machinist. He was an avid fisherman and loved the game of golf. He always enjoyed being able to help people in his community.
Survivors include his wife of 33 years, Frances Fontenot of Frankston, Texas; two sons, Eric Fontenot and his wife, Lynda, of West Columbia, Texas, and Brian Fontenot of Pearland, Texas; two daughters, Debbie Clark and her husband, Lee, of Corpus Christi, Texas, and Carol Walker of Pearland, Texas; two brothers, Gerald Fontenot and his wife, Verna Mae, and Glenn Fontenot, all of Ville Platte; two sisters, Verna Lee Guillory and her husband, Red, of Ville Platte and Joline Tate and her husband, Bob, of Garland, Texas; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Rose Nadine Fontenot; and one step-daughter, Jana Hensley.
Pall bearers honored to serve were his grandsons, Rick Fontenot, Stephen Fontenot, Weston Clark, Brent Walker, Jacob Clark, Kyle Clark, Justin Perry and Stephen Nichols.
Rev. Daniel Booth officiated.
Autry Funeral Home of Frankston, Texas, was in charge of arrangements.
