Philip K. Fontenot

Funeral services will be held for Philip K. Fontenot, 51, of Ville Platte, at the LaVille Funeral Home Chapel in Ville Platte at 2 p.m., Saturday, September 5. Burial will follow in the Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
Mr. Fontenot died Tuesday, September 1, 2015, at his residence.
Survivors include his wife, Rachel A. Fontenot of Ville Platte; his parents, Kermy J. and Patricia Angelle Fontenot of Gonzales; one son, Branson Logan Fontenot of Ville Platte; one step-son, Kelly Grant Fontenot and his wife, Rebecca, of Ville Platte; one daughter, Trinity Faith Fontenot of Ville Platte; one step-daughter, Siera Nicole Lafleur and her husband, Shaun, of Point Blue; one brother, Glen Patrick Fontenot and his wife, Aida, of Gonzales; two sisters, Melissa Brignac and her husband, Russell, and Debbie Cox and her husband, Karl, all of Gonzales; four grandchildren, Kayden Lee Lafleur, Callie Brook Fontenot, Addisyn Claire Fontenot and Jaxton Chase Lafleur; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by one step-son, Chauncey Chase Fontenot.
