PIERRE MAUSE ‘TINY’ FONTENOT
December 2, 1954 - October 29, 2014
Funeral services were held for Pierre Mause “Tiny” Fontenot, 59, of Ville Platte, at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church in Chataignier at 2 p.m., Friday, October 31. Burial followed in the church cemetery.
A loving brother and uncle, Mr. Fontenot died Wednesday, October 29, 2014, at his residence.
Survivors include his devoted siblings, Doward and Connie Fontenot of Chataignier, Stanley and Gloria Fontenot of Reddell, Steven “Bob” and Janelle Fontenot of Point Blue, Rodrick and Brenda Richard of Evangeline, Brenda Faye and Benny Fontenot, Anna and Darryl Veillon and Irene and Ed Armand, all of Ville Platte, Loretta and Charles Prejean of Carencro, Linda and Gerald Chapman of Pine Prairie and JoAnn and Johnny Carroll of Hornbeck. Joyful memories and sweet stories will be treasured and passed on by his numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his dear parents, Rudolph Fontenot and Lou Elda LeBleu Fontenot Richard and his step-father, Rogers Richard; and one sister, Mary Joyce Johnson.
Father Darren Eldrige officiated.
