Rachel L. Guillory

PINE PRAIRIE - Funeral services will be held for Rachel L. Guillory, 60, of Pine Prairie, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Oakdale at 11 a.m., today, Wednesday, December 10. Burial will follow in the Pine Prairie Catholic Church Cemetery.
A loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, grandmother, aunt and friend, Mrs. Guillory died Friday, December 5, 2014, at her residence with her loving family by her side. She was a Catholic by faith. She was employed at the Oakdale Wal-Mart for numerous years. She loved to make jewelry, draw, planting flowers and photographing.
Survivors include her husband of 41 years, Cliff Guillory of Pine Prairie; one son, Shawn Guillory Sr. and his wife, Crystal, of Pine Prairie; one daughter, Annette Guillory of Pine Prairie; her mother, Mary Soileau of Natchitoches; one brother, Don Soileau and his wife, Tish, of Alexandria; two sisters, Lori Guillot and her husband, Phillip, of Prospect and Shelia White and her husband, Donnie, of Ball; three grandsons, Erik Johnson, Shawn “Michael” Guillory Jr. and Trenton John Guillory; two granddaughters, Gabrielle Danielle Guillory and Jesslyn Marie West; and a host of family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, Roland Soileau.
Father Jose Vattakunnel will officiate.
White Oaks Funeral Home of Oakdale will be in charge of arrangements.
