Funeral services were held for Roger Dale Brown, 70, of VIlle Platte, at the LaVille Funeral Home Chapel in Ville Platte at 1 p.m., Monday, April 13. Burial followed in the Ortego Cemetery.
Mr. Brown died Saturday, April 11, 2015, at Mercy Regional Medical Center in Ville Platte.
Survivors include his wife, Delana Ortego Brown of Ville Platte; two sons, Kevin Brown and his wife, Renee, of Ville Platte and Michael Brown and his wife, Hope, of Eunice; one daughter, Sue Goodly and her husband, Jerome, of Lake Charles; two brothers, Tommy Brown and Johnny Brown, both of Arkansas; two sisters, Nelda Tyler of Dallas, Texas, and Sandra Cowley of Big Sandy, Texas; eight grandchildren, Jennifer Landreneau Bodin, Josh Landreneau, Jace Landreneau, Kaylee Wright, Maci Wright, Avery Brown, Megan Goodly and Isaiah Goodly; and two great-grandchildren, Edward and Emery Bodin.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William L. and Mary E. Brown.
