MAMOU - Funeral services were held for Roland “ToTo” Marcantel, 76, of Reddell, at St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Mamou at 2 p.m., Wednesday, March 26. Burial followed in the First Baptist (Bieber) Cemetery.
Mr. Marcantel died Monday, March 24, 2014, at Rapides Regional Medical Center in Alexandria.
Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Barbara Acklen Marcantel of Reddell; one daughter, Lana Marcantel Gulley of Reddell; and two grandchildren, Justin Gulley and Jacob Marcantel.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Basile and Amanda Marcantel; three brothers, Clifton, Elson and Clarence Marcantel; four sisters, Anna M. Deville, Edolia M. Mott, Dora Prudhomme and Pearl Douget; and one grandson, Hunter Trace Gulley.
