Funeral services were held for Rose Belle Guillory, 101, of Ville Platte, at Our Lady Queen of All Saints Catholic Church in Ville Platte at 11 a.m., Monday, September 29. Burial followed in the Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
A loving mother and grandmother, Ms. Guillory died Friday, September 26, 2014, at Heritage Manor Nursing Home in Ville Platte.
Survivors include one son, Wendell J. Guillory and his wife, Betty, of Fairhope, Alabama; and one daughter, Bonwit “Bonnie” Phillips and her husband, Fredrick, of Ville Platte. Also left behind to cherish her memory are her five grandchildren, Steven Phillips, Audie Phillips, Beau Guillory, Mijume Guillory and Sean Guillory; 10 great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Duboin Guillory; her parents, Johnson and Amelie Beauregard; and six brothers and sisters.
Father Brad Guillory officiated.
