Sally Elizabeth Blackmon

BAYOU CHICOT - Funeral services were held for Sally Elizabeth Blackmon, 43, of Pine Prairie, at the Turkey Creek United Pentecostal Church at 1 p.m., Tuesday, April 28. Burial followed in the Vandenburg Cemetery in Bayou Chicot.
Ms. Blackmon died Saturday, April 25, 2015, at Prairie Manor Nursing Home in Pine Prairie.
Survivors include two sons, Derek Clark of Pine Prairie and Willie Clark III of Pineville; two daughters, Samantha Bearden and her husband, Shawn, and Latisha Yielding, all of Pine Prairie; her parents, JB Jr. and Doris Yielding of Pine Prairie; two brothers, John Edward Yielding and his wife, Helen, of DeRidder and Keith Yielding and his wife, Pam, of Anacoco; two sisters, Reba Campbell and her husband, Brent, of the Crooked Creek Community and Lisa Miller of Pine Prairie; five grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, JB Sr. and Sallie Yielding; her maternal grandparents, Edward Fox and Hazel Bowman; and one sister, Carmon Dale Yielding.
Revs. George Robinson and Jeff Wainwright officiated.
