Shaney Lee Morein

MAMOU - Funeral services will be held for Shaney Lee Morein, 51, of Mamou, at St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Mamou at 10 a.m., Monday, August 3. Burial will follow in the Evangeline Memorial Park Cemetery in Ville Platte.
Mrs. Morein died Thursday, July 30, 2015, at Ochsner Medical Center in New Orleans.
Survivors include her husband of 26 years, Troy A. Morein of Mamou; her mother and step-father, Priscilla M. Tate and Ray Allen of Mamou; three sons, Christopher Ray Morein and his fiancée, Taylor, of Lafayette and James Harold Morein II and his wife, Kasey, and Wyatt Joseph Morein, all of Mamou; and three brothers, Brook Chapman and his wife, Sally, and Shannon Chapman, all of Mamou, and Eric Chapman and his wife, Donna, of Fannett, Texas. She also will be missed by her three beautiful grandchildren, Khloe Elizabeth Morein, Carter Ray Morein and Davis Jude Morein. They were the light of her life.
She was preceded in death by her father, Donald Chapman.
Father Alphonse Thainese will officiate.
