Funeral services were held for Terrell Jean Fontenot, 61, of Ville Platte, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Ville Platte at 1 p.m., Wednesday, July 2. Burial followed in the Sacred Heart Mausoleum.
A devoted brother, uncle and loyal friend, Mr. Fontenot died Tuesday, July 1. 2014, at Savoy Medical Center in Mamou.
Survivors include one brother, Lee Fontenot of Opelousas; and one sister, Nell Rider of Ville Platte. His memory will be fondly recalled by his nieces, nephews and a host of dear friends for years to come. He is now with his Savior, but his legacy will live on through kind and heartfelt stories that will be recalled by those whom were lucky enough to have walked with him on his journey through this life.
He was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Simon and Luta F. Fontenot; and one brother, Joseph Fontenot.
Father Brian Harrington officiated.
