Funeral services were held for Valarie Guillory Fontenot, 53, of Ville Platte, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Ville Platte on Tuesday, May 19. Burial followed in the Sacred Heart Mausoleum.
Ms. Fontenot died Sunday, May 17, 2015, at her residence.
Survivors include four sons, Thomas Brad Fontenot and his wife, Andre, Derek James Fontenot and his wife, Blaire, Caleb Michael Fontenot and Wesley Tate Fontenot, all of Ville Platte; her parents, Roland and Rosa Bell Guillory of Vidrine; two sisters, Verona Deville and her husband, Steve, of Springfield, Illinois, and Marella Fontenot of Ville Platte; and three grandchildren, Ava, Thomas and Jacques.
Father Brian Harrington officiated.
