Veronica Lynn Ortego

Funeral services will be held for Veronica Lynn Ortego, 58, of Pine Prairie, at St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Pine Prairie at 2 p.m., Sunday, March 13. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Ortego died Friday, March 11, 2016, at her residence.
Survivors include her husband of 40 years, JC Ortego of Pine Prairie; two sons, Joshua Randall Ortego and his wife, Tiffany, of Ville Platte and Devin Chase Ortego of Pine Prairie; one brother, Phillip Delafosse and his wife, Terri, of Clarks Landing; and one sister, Ramona Compton and her husband, Jason, of Pine Prairie. Also left behind to cherish her memory are her two grandchildren, Nicholas Randall Ortego and Sarah Lynn Ortego.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Hersey and Mary Ann Delafosse; and one brother, James Randall Delafosse.
Father Kenneth Mayne will officiate.
